Shannon Keane is a Melbourne based illustrator, artist and curator. Shannon didn’t paint or draw as a child, but first started painting through doing graffiti as a teenager. Over the years his work slowly morphed from tags and throw ups, to rap letters and characters, through to murals and illustrations. On the way his style picked up influences from comic books, fine art, skateboard graphics, other illustrators and lowbrow art. Able to work with traditional media and digital, his work is still usually found on walls or skateboards,  some remaining elements from his younger years.

Shannon has been exhibiting work in galleries across the country, with works in over 30 exhibitions, as well as curating shows himself.
